Day 1 Hometown - Narita

You begin your adventure. Depart Vancouver or from your hometown to Narita. En-route you will cross the International Dateline.

 

Day 2 Narita - Tokyo

Arrive Narita Airport, transfer to hotel in Tokyo.
Hotel: Shiba Park or similar

 

Day 3 Tokyo

This morning, visit Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza and Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Arcade and then drive through Ueno. The tour disbands upon arrival at Akihabara or Tokyo Station. This afternoon is free at your leisure.

Day 4 Tokyo

Experience the Tea Ceremony in this morning. The tour disbands on spot and the rest of they day is free at your leisure.

Day 5 Tokyo - Kamakura - Tokyo
Today visit Hasedera Temple (Hase Kannon Temple) and Great Buddha. After a Japanese-style lunch, procced to Komachi Shopping Street. The tour disbands upon arrival at Tokyo Station. (L)

Day 6 Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo
This morning, visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After a Japanese-style lunch, visit Tamozawa Imperial Villa and Kirifuri Waterfall. The tour disbands upon arrival at Shinjuku or Ginza. (L)

Day 7 Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone

Today, visit Fuji Visitor Center and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. After a Japanese-style lunch, take the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Valley and followed by a pirate boat on Lake Ashi. (L)

Day 8 Hakone - Nagoya
Transfer to Odawara Station and take a Shinkansen to Nagoya. After a Buffet-style lunch, visit Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and Nagoya Castle. (L)

Day 9 Nagoya - Ise - Toba - Kyoto

This morning, visit Ise Jingu Shrine and the Mikimoto Pearl Island. After a Japanese-style lunch, continue your journey to Kyoto. (L)

Day 10 Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

This morning, visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After a Western-style lunch, continue your journey to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple with Great Buddha and Nara Park. Next, visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Nagomikan before returning to Kyoto. (L)

Day 11 Kyoto

Today is free at your leisure.

Day 12 Kyoto - Takayama
Board on a Shinkansen to Nagoya Station and then connect a train to Takayama Station. Upon arrival, visit Yatai Kaikan Hall, Kusakabe Folk Museum and Kami Sannomachi Street.

Day 13 Takayama - Shirakawa-go - Kanazawa
This morning, stroll at Morning Market of Takayama. Next, transfer to Shirakawa-go to visit Gasshozukuri Folk Village/Wada Residence.

Day 14 Kanazawa - Kyoto
Visit Kenrokuen Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln and Old Samurai Residence (Nomura Residence). Transfer to Kyoto.

Day 15 Kyoto - Hometown
Transfer to Kansai Airport for your homebound flight.
