TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 Canada - Narita
You begin your adventure. Depart Vancouver or from your hometown on Japan Airlines to Narita. En-route you will cross the International Dateline.
Day 2 Narita - Tokyo
Arrive Narita International Airport, transfer to hotel in Tokyo.
Hotel: Shiba Park or similar
Day 3 Tokyo
This morning, visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine. Drive through the National Diet Building. Then to the Imperial Palace East Gardens, and the Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Arcade. After a Western-style lunch, you will take a Tokyo Bay Cruise "Symphony" followed by a visit to the Rainbow Bridge. (L)

Day 4 Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo
This morning, visit the Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After a Japanese-style lunch, drive through the Irohazaka and enjoy the view of the Lake Chuzenji and Kegonnotaki Waterfall. Via Irohazaka zigzag driveway down the mountains and drive back to Tokyo. Tour disbands on arrival at Ginza or Shinjuku for shopping. (L)

Day 5 Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone
Today, take a coach ride to visit Fuji Visitor Center and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. After a Japanese-style lunch, proceed to Hakone Ropeway in Owakudani Valley. Then enjoy a pirate boat cruise on Lake Ashi. (L)

Day 6 Hakone - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
This morning, you will be transferred to Odawara Station and connect the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto Station. After a Buffet-style lunch, proceed to Nara and visit the Todaiji Temple with Great Buddha and Nara Park. Visit the Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Nagomikan before returning to Kyoto. (L)

Day 7 Kyoto
A full day sightseeing in Kyoto today. Visit the Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After a Buffet-style lunch, visit the Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo, and Kiyomizu Temple. (L)
Hotel: Karasuma or similar
Day 8 Kyoto - Hiroshima - Kyoto
Board on a Shinkansen for Hiroshima Station. Sightsee the Miyajima Island/ Itsukushima Shrine and Peace Memorial Museum. Board on a Shinkansen back to Kyoto.

Day 9 Kyoto
Today is a free day at your leisure.
Day 10 Kyoto - Narita - Canada
Transfer to airport for your homebound flight. It is the same day when you arrive home as you will re-cross the International Dateline.
