ITINERARY
Day 1 Depart Hometown
You begin your adventure. Depart Vancouver or from your hometown with connection on Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines to Bangkok. En-route you will cross the International Dateline.
Day 2 Arrive Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok, transfer to hotel.
Hotel: Indra Regent or similar
Day 3 Bangkok
Today, take a half-day tour to visit the home of the Kings of Siam of the Chakri Dynasty, originally built by King Rama I, it served as the royal residence until 1946. Today the palace is still used on certain occasions for visiting royalty or special guests of the Kingdom. Adjoining the Grand Palace you will find the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo), this is probably the best known of the royal temples. It is regarded as the most important temple in all Thailand. Tonight enjoy a delicious traditional Thai Dinner served in traditional Thai manner, a prelude to a presentation of some of the most colorful, classical and folk dances. (B/D)
Day 4 Bangkok - Kanchanaburi
Today visit the War Museum (Thailand-Burma Railways), War Cemetery and Bridge Over the River Kwai. Then take a long-tailed boat from pier to get to the Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. After lunch, take an exciting boat ride downstream to visit the Hell Fire Pass Memorial. Dinner followed by a 45-minute presentation of Mon Cultural Dance. (B/L/D)

Day 5 Kanchanaburi
Today visit the ethnic Mon Tribal Village. Lunch at the resort followed by an afternoon relaxing in paradise. (B/L/D)
Day 6 Kanchanaburi - Pattaya
This morning is free at your leisure. Departure by boat followed by a historic train ride on the Death Railway, passing lush forest before crossing the Bridge Over the River Kwai and arriving in Kanchanaburi town. Transfer to Bangkok to meet your connecting transfer to Pattaya beach. (B/L)

Day 7 Pattaya
Today take a day trip to the outlying island, an essential part of any trip to Pattaya! One of the most popular offshore isles is Koh Lan, Coral Island, which offering fine, white sand and beautiful coral reef. The island is just about 7.5 kilometres away from Pattaya shore. Equipment for snorkeling, parasailing, water skiing and jet skiing are available for rent on the island. (B/L)
Day 8 -11 Pattaya
Free day at your leisure to enjoy the sun, sea and sand of Pattaya. (B)
Day 12 Pattaya - Bangkok -Homebound
Bid farewell to Thailand and depart for hometown. It is the same day when you arrive home as you will re-cross the International Dateline. (B)
